The project leverages the locational advantage of the North Square of Beijing South Railway Station and aligns with the “Vibrant South Station” brand image to create the “Scholarly South Station”—a space that integrates cultural display, reading experiences, and technology interaction—thereby strengthening the social influence of Beijing Institute of Graphic Communication. Through a fusion of spatial design and cultural elements, it attracts travelers to pause, communicates the culture of printing and publishing, and elevates the station’s cultural atmosphere, while also providing the university with a hands-on practice platform and a public-facing window for social outreach. Within a “cultural consumption” context, the project addresses the triple pursuit of practical function, emotional value, and social connectivity.
